In my early thirties, I switched it all up, leaving behind a marketing management position at Apple Computer to pursue a job as a photojournalist at a local newspaper. I quickly launched Yvonne Cornell Photography to further pursue commercial and editorial work. Despite a beloved clientele list, the art of personal storytelling eluded me until the introduction of Instagram. This visual forum offered instant connections with like-minded photographers and small craft artisans. It opened up a world of new discoveries and connections.

My Dream Job: A 19th-century naturalist & wildlife explorer with 21st-century technology.
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
