Botanical Inspiration Day #11

I invited botanical photographer and creative art director, Francis Ooi, to guest post an image of his choosing for the 31 Days of Botanical Inspirations. He selected this image entitled Character (nicknamed the Clint Eastwood of leaves.) It reminds him of “the human journey of life… as we grew older, our lives are marked with both good and bad experiences and it shapes who we are today.” Francis Ooi held his first solo exhibition of botanical portraits in Singapore in the same year this leaf was photographed.
