I found….

A great recipe for coconut lime chicken,

A new varitone graduated photo background,

A nearby cottage on an organic farm to rent,

A set of pigment ink pens for hand lettering,

A local class at a city clubhouse for artists,

A new lighting method,

A go-to iPhone app for editing my images,

A perfect letter “G” for hand lettering,

A reminder that I still have a soft spot in my heart for Myanmar,

A goal to attend an ALT Summit which I never knew existed,

A channel to share my work in the Chronicle Books “This Is Happening,”

. . . and most significantly, an entire community that has inspired me with new ideas.

Yet another reason to love Instagram . . .

oh, and you thought it was just the cool filters.

Think again . . .

I concur with Instagramer ‘djkrugman’ who has found a constant stream of creativity. “We are all sharing our different visual perspectives, cross pollinating with different ideas and styles.”
