I made this gelatin silver print in 1978. I like the strong contrasts and graphic shapes. This print reminds me that our pursuits in youth are a pretty good indicator of the ongoing passions that will sustain and nurture us later in life. Evidently, I enjoyed finding visual metaphors in nature early on. Do you see what I see?
